Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SplitIt (the “Service”), operated by Tsuf Peleg (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

SplitIt is a tool that breaks goals into visual, AI-generated step-by-step plans across Canvas, Focus, and List views. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to generate or store content that infringes others’ rights or violates the law.

4. AI-generated content

The Service uses AI to generate sub-steps from your input. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. It is provided “as is” for your assistance only — you are responsible for reviewing it and deciding how to use it. SplitIt is not a substitute for professional advice.

5. Plans, billing, and cancellation

• Free plan. Includes up to 20 AI splits per month, up to 200 steps per project, and nesting depth up to 8.
• Pro plan. $5/month, billed monthly via Stripe. Includes up to 200 AI splits per month, up to 500 steps per project, and nesting depth up to 15.
• Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial or unused billing periods. When you cancel, you keep Pro access until the end of the current period.
• We may change pricing or plan limits with reasonable notice; changes apply to future billing periods.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the goals, steps, and other content you create. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you (including sending relevant content to our AI provider to generate sub-steps, as described in our Privacy Policy).

7. Our intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — belongs to us. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or to copy or resell the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SplitIt and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
